Spring 2013 Leadership Certificate Program

ADVANCEMENT: Informing and persuading key constituencies. A pro-active marketing approach strengthens your organization’s ability to engage donors, clients, media, volunteers, policy-makers and funders. This course will introduce skills and concepts that can be put immediately into practice to help nonprofit leaders effectively manage their organization’s messages and programs in order to actively support both long term development and friend-raising.Elements of this course include: audience identification and message development, managing an on-line presence using social media to engage constituents,and developing relationships with customers, volunteers and donors in the context of several different fundraising models.
