Charter Day formally celebrates the anniversary of the College and its receipt of the original document from the State of Illinois recognizing the Rockford Female Seminary as a degree granting private institution of higher learning. In an event following the convocation, the focus will shift from anniversary to birthday celebration in Regents Hall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.! The occasion provides a perfect opportunity to unite the entire Rockford campus community together with alumni and friends from coast to coast. Literally! Plans are in the works to join groups from across the United States live and in real-time for the gathering. Rockford College looks proudly to its lasting legacy and with great excitement to the legacies yet to be created. 2012 will be a year to lift up with pride and promise all that is still to come.
