Brian Selznick is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's books. Selznick is touring to promote his newly released book, Wonderstruck. He received the 2008 Caldecott Medal for The Invention of Hugo Cabret, which was made into the film, Hugo, directed by Martin Scorsese to be released in November 2011. He has also won a second Caldecott Honor in addition to numerous other book awards and honors.
