Come help us celebrate the 164th anniversary of the Rockford College Charter! The long-held tradition of Charter Day commemorates the founding of the college in 1847, and has been held every year since. It features all faculty in their full regalia, flags, and ceremony. Featured speaker this year is Jim Whitehead `04, Chicago attorney, member of the Rockford College Board of Trustees, and great grandson of Blanche Walker Burpee, who graduated from Rockford College in 1895 and helped secure the land on which our current campus sits. The event is held in the Maddox Theatre.
