The Journey of a Chinese American Author

While Da Chen’s subject is autobiographical, he also includes Chinese culture, society and politics in an effort to help his audience to get to know China through his experiences. Tracing his childhood of repression during the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s to his success as a Wall Street lawyer and best-selling author of both adult and young-adult works, family, education and hope were all instrumental in the development of his life. His story is inspirational and compelling, illustrating the power of the human spirit.
