We’ve got a global perspective (and
the passports to prove it).
Before our students change the world, we encourage them to see it,
explore it, and engage it. How far would you go to learn? Through our
Kobe-Regent’s Center for Global Education, Rockford College students
pursue study abroad options in Australia, England, France, Italy, and
Spain.
When you export students, they import
an international perspective. (Jane
Addams - an “internationalist” before the
term was even invented – would be proud.) Today, the
global community at Rockford College continues to grow through
our English as
a Second Language (ESL) programming, which attracts
students from around the world.
We also coordinate:
- International Service Learning;
- Host family programs;
- U.S. immigration services.
Bridging cultural gaps. Establishing lasting friendships. It makes
for a better learning environment (and probably proves that not all
global warming is bad).
