Paula Jones selected to the NCAA III National Student
Athlete Advisory Committee
Paula Jones, a former Rockford
College's three-sport student athlete, was selected
to the NCAA III National Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee. Jones, from Port Byron, Ill., played
volleyball, basketball and softball for the Regents. |
|
Jones represented both the Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference
(of which Rockford College was a member until joining the
Northern Athletics Conference in 2006) and the College Conference
of Illinois & Wisconsin on the committee.
She was involved with Rockford
College's campus SAAC committee for all four of her years
at Rockford.
As a member of
the national committee, Jones had the opportunity to provide
other members insight on the student-athlete experience.
She also was able to offer greater input on the rules, regulations
and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on the
Division III campuses.
