Presentations
During the 2008 Reunion, as
an alternative to football, you can attend any or all
four 30-minute presentations on summer research projects.
They are held in the Forrest Cool Lounge of Burpee Center
and are conducted by student/faculty research teams. Past
topics ranged from Rhetoric to Voice Pedagogy, to the
Cold War and Diversity. Just to give you idea, posted
below are projects from last year. 2008 final schedule
will be posted to this page soon. This information will
also be available at Reunion registration.

The student/faculty
research team of Bridgette Wendt and Professor Lynn
Stafford will present their findings on diversity
in higher education, including at Rockford College,
examining national surveys, diversity content in the
College's Education courses, diversity clubs, and
preparation of teacher candidates in this topic. |

The student/faculty research
team of Kate Terry and Professors Chris Bruun, Catherine
Forslund, and Mary Weaks-Baxter will present their
findings on research conducted on the history of American
women in the World War II period, including activities
by Rockford College students at the time. |
