Welcome to Rockford! Rockford University will ensure you develop the knowledge, values, and skills for success at your first and all the way to your last career. Our brand of liberal arts and sciences, and their extensions into ALL of our major programs, is the bridge to make your dreams imagined a reality.

You will have the opportunity to participate in one of our signature programs, the Forum Series. This program introduces you to the movers, shakers and especially the thinkers of today’s world.

We are also a community of communities where you can connect with fellow students, teachers, staff and people from the greater Rockford region in new or familiar activities. Quick Fact

1 of 11 colleges in Illinois and 283 in the country with a Phi Beta Kappa chapter, the oldest and most prestigious liberal arts academic honor society. The Phi Beta Kappa Chapter at Rockford University (Eta of Illinois) was established in 1953, during the tenure of President Mary Ashby Cheek. Each year since that time, the chapter inducts a select few of its graduating seniors into the Society.
