Academics
at Rockford College - We have 63 full-time
and about 60 part-time faculty members. More than 70 percent have
the highest degree in their fields. Our professors, who hold Ph.D.’s
from such institutions as Yale, Vanderbilt and the University
of Chicago, certainly qualify as experts in their field.
With a student faculty ratio of 10 to 1, in-class activism is
both expected and appreciated.
Rockford College is one of only 12 institutions
in Illinois with a Phi
Beta Kappa chapter, the oldest and most prestigious
academic honors society.
The
Rockford College faculty and curriculum are organized
