Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Schiek joined the Rockford University faculty as an assistant professor in 2005. She completed her undergraduate work at Rockford University in 1987 earning a bachelor of science degree in physical education. Schiek taught physical education and mathematics to elementary, middle, and high school students for seventeen years in the Rockford area. She completed her graduate work at St. Xavier University in 2004 earning a master of art degree in educational leadership.

Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Boe joined Rockford University in 2011 as an Adjunct Professor and then as an Assistant Professor in 2012. She earned her B.S. in Physical Education and Health and her M.S. in Exercise Science from Seattle Pacific University. She has taught Physical Education and coached elementary through high school students in Washington, Wisconsin and Illinois during the last 26 years. She has also worked as a Fitness Director, doing exercise testing and prescription, as well as developing fitness programs for various populations specializing in prenatal exercise.

Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Hunter joined the Rockford University faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He completed his undergraduate work at Plymouth State University in 1990 earning a bachelor of science degree in Physical Education. Hunter completed his graduate work at the United States Sports Academy in 1993 earning a master of sports science in administration degree.  He then completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration in 2005 from Madison University.  Hunter has taught physical education and sport management classes for 24 years at the collegiate level.  He has also coached men’s and women’s sports at the collegiate level for 24 years and has been named Coach of the Year nine times.
