I Performing Arts I Programs of Study I Theatre

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre offers the student the broadest exposure in the discipline. The core of the major provides a basic understanding of acting, directing, history, criticism, and technical theatre. Beyond the basic structure of the major, students are able to concentrate on design/technical theatre, acting, directing, stage management, or education. Numerous opportunities exist for practical experience through the main-stage, Three-Penny, and AET productions.

Students can also pursue various internships to further enhance their theatre education. The BA in Theatre prepares the student to pursue a professional career, post-graduate training, or a career as a teacher. All potential BA candidates must go though an audition or interview process and must be accepted by the college.
