Academic Departments I Performing Arts I Facilities/Theatres

Clark Arts Center is the home to the Department of Performing Arts and the Art Department. Along with Maddox Theatre and Cheek Theatre this complex includes drawing, sculpture, ceramics and print studios, a photography dark room, the Art Gallery, the Dance Studio, music practice rooms, fully equipped costume and scene shops, the green room, dressing rooms and costume, prop and scenery storage.

Maddox Theatre is a fully equipped 572 seat proscenium theater which is home to a variety of performing arts events. Each year the department produces faculty directed shows, choral concerts and recitals in Maddox Theatre. It also hosts the college forum series, the biennial UnCommon Lives series and many community cultural events.

Cheek Theatre is a 40' by 50' flexible seating black box theater. The department produces faculty directed and student directed shows, our Three-Penny Theatre, in Cheek Theatre annually.
