Visiting a college campus can be a little overwhelming. Even
activists need a little help in where to go, who to see, and what
to do.
The Rockford College Office of Admission is ready to personally
greet all prospective students and their families and make sure
they see everything they want to see – and even more.

Not only can you and your family see the campus, but
you can also meet with an Admission Counselor who
can help you through every step of the admission process
– from answering any questions you may have
to helping you apply that very same day. In addition,
your application fee will be waived when you fill
out an application during your visit.

Once you’ve set an appointment to visit, here’s
how you’ll spend your time with us…
Directions.
Rockford, Illinois, is located approximately 80 miles from Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, and 90 miles from downtown Chicago, Illinois. Directions
to Rockford and Rockford College
Check
in. The Admission Office is located on the first floor
of the Blanche Walker Burpee Center (see map above). Check in
at the greeter center
to meet with an Admission Counselor. Everything you’ll need
will be ready upon your arrival.
Lunch.
Lunch is on us! You’ll find our main cafeteria on the second
floor of the Blanche Walker Burpee Center. Enjoy an amazing assortment
of soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Visit the grill for burgers,
fries, and other fast-food treats. But whatever you do, don’t
forget to leave room for dessert.
Campus.
We’ve got 130 acres to explore. But don’t think
you have to find everything yourself. We will arrange to have a
Campus Ambassador take you from residence halls to classrooms and
everything in between. Campus

Parking. You’ll find that Rockford has ample
parking. We think it’s best to park in Lot A - the large parking
lot to the east of the main college road after you enter the campus
from Business 20/East State Street. Parking

Accommodations. We invite
prospective students to stay overnight in a residence hall. You’ll
meet other students and get a feel for what life at Rockford is
really like. To make arrangements, contact the Office of Admission.
