Philosophy is the systematic study of the fundamental questions: What is real? Does God exist? Is the soul immortal? Do I have free will? What ought I do with my life? Through the study of these questions, students of philosophy acquire critical thinking skills, knowledge of influential ideas in our cultural history, and the ability to reflect deeply on the basic questions of human life.
