William Langston Professor of Physical Education
B.S., Jacksonville University M.S., Illinois State University
Professor and Chairman of Physical Education, Langston joined the Rockford College staff as the athletic director and head baseball coach in 1980. He attended Florida State University and graduated from Jacksonville University with a bachelor of science degree in physical education. After teaching in both elementary and secondary schools in Florida and Illinois, Langston received his master’s degree in physical education from Illinois State University. He taught at Southern Illinois University before joining the Rockford College faculty.

Tammy Schiek Associate Professor of Physical Education

B.S., Rockford College M.A., St. Xavier University
Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Schiek joined the Rockford College faculty as an assistant professor in 2005. She completed her undergraduate work at Rockford College in 1987 earning a bachelor of science degree in physical education. Schiek taught physical education and mathematics to elementary, middle, and high school students for seventeen years in the Rockford area. She completed her graduate work at St. Xavier University in 2004 earning a master of art degree in educational leadership.

Assistant
Professor of Physical Education. Boe joined Rockford College in 2011
as an Adjunct Professor and then as Assistant Professor in 2012. She
earned her B.S. in Physical Education and Health and her M.S. in
Exercise Science from Seattle Pacific University. She has taught
Physical Education and coached Elementary through High school students in
Washington, Wisconsin and Illinois during the last 26 years. She has also worked as a Fitness Director, doing exercise
testing and prescription, as well as developing fitness programs for
various populations, specializing in prenatal exercise. |
