Career Opportunities
A wide range of career opportunities exists for graduates in physical education. Graduates who pursue teaching certification are prepared to teach at the elementary, middle, and secondary levels. Graduates who pursue sports management find employment opportunities with professional and semi-professional sports organizations, park districts, youth groups, recreational centers, the YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, fitness centers, and wellness clubs.
Graduates in both programs of study are well prepared to pursue graduate studies as well. Many graduates have received assistant-ships from major universities around the region and country.
