Jane Addams once said that "social advance depends as much upon the process through which it is secured as upon the result itself.” Becoming a Jane Addams Fellow is your opportunity to learn from the processes of social advancement and community advocacy.  Jane Addams Fellows are full-time students who are selected through a competitive application process and commit to providing service on the Rockford University campus or in the Rockford community for ten (10) hours each week. Additionally, the Fellows attend the Civic Engagement Seminar during the fall and spring semesters, attending twelve (12) of the fifteen (15) sessions.  Fellows must also maintain a 2.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher.
