If the position is a full-time and requires a college degree, Career Services can also post the position on the ISCPA (Illinois Small Colleges Placement Association) site for students and alumni of small colleges in Illinois to view.

Career and Internship Fair
Register now for the Rock Valley College and Rockford University Career and Internship Fair.

Where: Rock Valley College’s Mulford campus in the Physical Education Center (PEC)
When: Wednesday, September 24th from 1 to 4pm

Registration Cost: $60

Employer registration will be available until Wednesday, September 10th. You can Register Online or complete the attached Mail-in Registration Form and fax it to 815-921-4269 or mail it to:

Additionally, we have thoughtfully considered employer feedback and will be implementing the following positive changes to the fair:

  1. A dress code of no jeans, sweatshirts/sweatpants or flip flops permitted. Professional attire is required. We have always encouraged professional attire in the past, but now we are requiring it.

  2. A pre-registration process for attendees. Although students and alumni will still be allowed to attend the event if they have not pre-registered, those that do will have their resumes sent to employers prior to the fair. We believe doing so will allow us to catch resumes that need work in advance. Participating employers will receive all resumes in advance, and they will be categorized by interest area. Furthermore, A pre-registration process will hopefully help us attract serious job and internship seekers.

  3. Additional details regarding participating employers and opportunities that will be available. This information will be available further in advance on both of our college websites to better prepare attendees.
