Your career ‘Fast Track’ starts here,

with Rockford University’s Degree Completion Program.

Our Bachelor of Science in Management Studies (BSMS) degree program is designed to provide a quality educational experience for adult learners in an accelerated format.

Mark DePasqua
"This program gave me the opportunity to complete
a bachelor's degree from a well-accredited university that
is respected within the community. I was able to do so
in a nontraditional manner, too that accommodated me
as an adult learner."

- Mark DePasqua, Quality Engineer, Woodward

It's fast
Here’s how it works: Transfer in approximately 45 hours of course work. Then, you’ll join a cohort learning community of about 15 students. Your group will take one course at a time every five weeks–including thought-provoking subjects like global diversity and organizational ethics. About 24 months later, you’ll have a B.S. in Management Studies–a real life degree from a real-life university.

It's collaborative
You won’t go it alone. Instead, you and your cohort group will study together, work on projects together, even teach one another. Best of all, you’ll have actual faculty members as professors. Talk to them in person all you want!

It's affordable
The BSMS is priced affordable, so you can finish your degree. Students will be considered full-time and will be eligible to apply for financial aid. The cost per credit hour is $410.

***NEW***
Tuition-covered option for unemployed individuals

Rockford University will offer a new tuition-covered option for qualified individuals who have been out of work for at least 18 months. Eligible adult learners can enroll in the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Management Studies program, currently part of the University’s existing Return-to-College offerings. This option will cover any remaining tuition after all eligible state and federal student aid is applied. Qualified applicants must be Illinois residents 25 years of age and older who have been unemployed for at least 18 months, have some transferable college credit, but have not already earned a bachelor’s degree. For more information about filing for financial aid and eligibility visit the BSMS Tuition & Fees page.

It's a true liberal arts education
Some degree completion programs focus on just getting you through the program. At Rockford University, we focus on helping you become well and truly educated for life. You’re not just getting a degree, you’re getting access to the Rockford University community – computer labs, sporting events, performing arts, fitness center, library and all.
