Calling all Rockford University Alumni!
Our alumni are eager to bring the best and brightest students to Rockford University. Therefore, the Admissions Office at Rockford University is proud to offer an Alumni Recruiting program that allows alumni to spread the word about Rockford University across the country. Prospective students pay attention when they hear about our institution from our best source - you, our alumni. So, we need your help and if the student enrolls at Rockford University, we will waive his or her $100 tuition deposit!

What will an Alumni member do?
  • Identify prospective students through relatives, friends, teachers, coaches, community groups (social or professional), and newspaper articles and forward the names of these students to the Admission Office
  • Represent Rockford University at a college fair
  • Provide personal contact and/or literature to local schools, students and other groups
  • Bring students from their community to the campus for a visit
  • Help at on-campus admission events such as Visit Days and ROAR Days
  • Attend training workshops to learn current information about the university
  • Give us suggestions, ask questions, and identify potential problems
  • Attend Forum Events hosted by Rockford University at no charge - click here for a listing of current forums scheduled
What support will the Admission Office provide?
The Admission Office supplies alums with information from campus in the form of:
  • Training or review sessions on and off campus
  • The University viewbook and other current publications
  • The status of referrals

Rockford University Admission staff members will follow up on all requests and recommendations that result from a referral.

Admission staff members, traveling in their assigned geographic areas, are happy to meet with alumni members for a two-way exchange of information about prospective students.

What other support will the University provide?
Faculty members, coaches and other representatives are highly involved in the effort to attract quality students to Rockford University. Why not join them?

The entire university community, including faculty, administration and staff, is aware of the valuable work alumni members do and highly support that work.

What will be the result of alumni recruiting efforts?
Recruiting statistics show that personal contacts made by alumni can increase the number of applicants and, ultimately, enrolled students. Your input is certainly valued and you can make a difference!
