Half the Sky at Rockford University
At Rockford University, we believe we can change the world.
"Half the Sky" is a year-long program sponsored by Rockford University with the help of local civic leaders Jim and Pam Keeling. It is aimed at improving conditions in underdeveloped countries by making the tools available to enable people to make a living for themselves, especially women. Read more...The project is based on the best-selling book by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.
